For nature lovers, this is one of the most special experiences on Lake Skadar — a peaceful early-morning cruise when the lake comes alive with light, color, and sound.
We set off just before sunrise, when the water is calm and the sky begins to glow. As you glide through the quiet channels, you’ll see the lake slowly awaken — flocks of birds taking off, the mist lifting, and the reflections dancing across the surface.
Lake Skadar is home to over 280 bird species, including pelicans, herons, cormorants, and kingfishers. The best time for birdwatching is April and May, during nesting season, but each morning on the lake offers something unique.
The tour usually lasts 2 to 3 hours, and your local guide will guide you through the best viewing spots. Binoculars and brochures are available on board so you can fully enjoy this quiet, magical encounter with nature.
This isn’t just a tour — it’s a moment of calm and connection with one of Europe’s most important bird habitats.
Our tours are private, and the price depends on the number of people in your group.
