Step back in time with this 4-hour cruise to Poseljani, one of Lake Skadar’s most enchanting hidden villages — a place where nature and history blend perfectly.
Your journey begins in Virpazar, cruising through narrow, scenic channels surrounded by reeds and water lilies, with stunning mountain views all around. Along the way, your skipper will share stories about the lake’s life and traditions before reaching the small, secluded village of Poseljani, nestled deep in the greenery.
Once you arrive, you’ll walk along old stone paths that lead to ancient watermills, once used by local families centuries ago. You’ll also find natural springs bubbling through the rocks — a peaceful reminder of the village’s past when Poseljani was a lively trade and farming spot.
This tour is perfect for curious explorers and nature lovers who enjoy discovering untouched places, history, and the quiet side of Montenegro. It’s less about sightseeing — and more about feeling the lake’s timeless soul.
